Wayne Daly (30 Aug)

Wayne Daly
I guess we can all take heart that the invisible Jessica might actually now start to be interested in her constituents, even though she also actually no longer even lives in the elecorate anymore….. MAYBE ???

  • Joshua Rao: That's interesting. I see her everywhere I go. Community events, basketball, soccer etc
    • Wayne Daly: Joshua Rao oh well thats not the experience from a groundswell of people in Kingsley-Woodvale.

    • David Ellery: Joshua Rao thanks Cousin Joshua, you are the only one that sees her

    • AttractiveDeer2603: Joshua Rao only because her children are involved in those sports and she gets her tickets to be VIP. We don't need her to change sports, we need her to make changes like the safety of our community.

    • Zopperdooper: Joshua Rao I’ve not seen he for maybe 6+ years.

    • Joshua Rao: I do mobile DJing and end up doing alot of community events and she is always there. Don't see any of the other party candidates. Just my observations
      • Jamie Abel: Joshua Rao Shhhh, you'll ruin their fantasy narative!

      • Joshua Rao: Jamie Abel calling a spade a spade 🤣

  • Amy Blitvich: Weird take, she’s a super present local MP who is always advocating for community groups, schools and our suburbs but ok. She’s also moved like, five minutes away due to the changing needs of her family, after living locally for decades.
    • Tracy Matthews: Amy Blitvich decades????

    • Tracy Matthews: Amy Blitvich absolutely not our suburbs. Maybe her children’s schools and sports, but that’s every parents job.

    • Amy Blitvich: Tracy Matthews yeah... she lived in (cut off)

    • [Unknown Author, cut off] ...response. Its also a bit of a stretch to suggest she remains local while having moved to Hillarys!

    • Nelson Mendes: Wayne Daly geez Wayne.... aren't you for marriage equality. Hanson is not for marriage equality?

    • Rachel Kemp: Wayne Daly think u seem to have a lot more issues than most

  • ArticulateMouse3810: Got anything she’s actually done wrong, or are we just throwing mud and hoping some of it sticks?
    • Tracy Matthews: ArticulateMouse3810 never helped with any local issue when I’ve asked for her help. Arrogant. Ignores emails. Childishly blocked me.
      • Zopperdooper: Tracy Matthews she never dealt with my concern

  • Derek Webster: Who’s Jessica?

  • GentleBee8077: The orange wave is coming!
    • Bethne Crisafulli: GentleBee8077 heaven forbid

    • Hewie Chef: GentleBee8077 you are delusional if you think the orange people are the way forward.the only issue they push is migration .what about everything else

    • GentleBee8077: Hewie Chef my priority is my kids living in a free country. The way Labor is going we will all be silenced soon and the freedoms our ANZACS once fought for will be for nothing...in fact if they saw the Australia of today they would be rolling in their graves. ON are the lesser evil. The left and Labor have absolutely destroyed our country. Small businesses are shutting down. People are fleeing becau... more

    • Jordy Kickett: GentleBee8077 you’re delusional

    • Jamie Abel: GentleBee8077 You want freedom, so your plan is to support the party that tells everyone how they should live instead of the party telling everyone to live the way they want?

    • ArticulateCaribou6878: Jamie Abel Labor is destroying Australia by making the average family not able to afford the basics

    • Melissa D'Argenta: GentleBee8077 you want freedom which ONthonks is closing down media outlets? FTLOG

  • Cathy Cahill: I wrote to her with an fine issue after a transplant and a static camera. Issue sorted within a week. Not around? Load of crap.

  • BrightDolphin1506: Gosh whining must be a daily excitement for you. Other then not responding to one of your emails (and I’ll assume you are one of those people who probably emails all the time wanting your admin work done for you ) what wrong can you actually list ? She has helped school my kids school for one that I can promise you it isn’t her children’s school.

  • ArticulateCaribou6878: Jessica is a waste of space. Very poor state member for Kingsley

  • Jamie Abel: She doesn't vote for you, so you're a moron if you vote for her. (Link: Find out how Pauline Hanson votes on issues that matter to you)

  • Jamie Abel: 🤦‍♂️ Herdegen lives in Rockingham (not Secret Harbour) since moving to WA only a couple years ago. Not only does he live further from his electorate than Jessica, but he's never lived there, and has barely lived in WA! So which one of them really isn't a 'local'? I understand that the truth doesn't matter as much to One Nation fans as their precious bigoted feelings do, but guess what? Facts do... more
    • Wayne Daly: Well I am so glad you have vented all that but it simply does not change any of the specific facts being addressed in this discussion around the lack of performance from our local state member !!!
      • Jamie Abel: Wayne Daly Mate, its your post. You whinged she wasn't around and wasn't local, and used that as the reason One Nation won the by-election. Multiple people have highlighted that she's actually very visible, and I've highlighted that Herdegen is about as far from 'local' as you can be. Maybe if you cared about the things you whinged about you'd have realised this.

      • Wayne Daly: Jamie Abel stop twisting my commentary to support your flawed agenda, please!

      • Jamie Abel: Wayne Daly Stop holding you accountable to your own words, you mean.

      • Wayne Daly: Jamie Abel can only assume you are in fact part of the loony left who all hate accountability ?

      • Jamie Abel: Wayne Daly Trying to silo people into "Left" or "Right" is the most reductive and innefective way to discuss politics. If you want me to try and label my views, I would say Centre-Left. Capitalism is a beautiful thing, but only when its backed by a strong social safety net, and regulated properly to avoid worker exploitation. Let me take a wild guess, you primarily care about "being strong" on im... more

      • Wayne Daly: Jamie Abel OH so I was correct in every aspect. Typical approach of distracting from the subject matter when the truth is not appreciated. I remind you that the discussion is about the lack of presence and concern for her constituents as is demonstrated by the local member for Kingsley Woodvale. Maybe you can let her know that it looks like her seat is no longer safe and it may now be too late for... more

      • Jamie Abel: Wayne Daly You've provided nothing, champ. You can't just say something is true and then its true. If you actually want to have a discuss something, why not bring up something to discuss? Instead you use vague generalities like "lack of presence" in the face of multiple replies giving examples of how she is. Start by telling me what you think she isn't doing, that you wish she was?
        • Joan Atkins: Jamie Abel you sound like a very nasty person
          • Jamie Abel: Joan Atkins (FIGHTING FIRE WITH FIRE GIPHY)

  • Betty Johnson: Apparently Luke Herdegen won byelection The result wasn’t simply a referendum on Pauline Hanson’s national policies. ABC’s analysis found that local concerns such as cost of living, housing and community amenities — even something as mundane as rubbish collection — were important to voters. My comment is a council usually is responsible for rubbish collection ?

  • Arianne Tahon: I empathise with many reasons people say they want to vote for ON but I really hope those people actually look at all the policies and if they truly fit their beliefs. They have campaigned against woman's reproductive rights, they are still arguing over the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community (2 days ago one MP questioned whether gays should have equal rights?!!) I can't be bothered going on but pl... more
    • Jo Williams: Arianne Tahon they don't have any actual policies. All talk and BS lies. Don't be fooled Kingsley peeps.

    • BrightDolphin1506: Arianne Tahon putting ON supporters and reading policies in the same sentence is wishful thinking.

  • Rachel Kemp: Wow, i have found Jessica to be very approachable, she has attended various local meetings and assisted pretty much every local school in area to ensure schools get funding for equip and services they need, she has provided support to local playgroup when I was on the committee she helped line up federal election promise funds so we could upgrade a playground that CoJ had left rotting away, recently she helped kingsley footy club receive additoonal funds for larger storage sheds, she actively advocates for local people from all walks of life in our area, have seen her walking streets, attending local charity events, is open and honest.....!!! I mean get real! Not sure what you actually expect from a local member.
    • Wayne Daly: Rachel Kemp wow then you are a super small minority among many disgruntled and disappointed consituents. Or maybe just looking at the situation through very rose-(RED) colored glasses !!!

    • Rachel Kemp: Wayne Daly nah dont think am in minority actually. So what big issues have you tried seeking support for if you dont mind me asking?

    • Rachel Kemp: Wayne Daly love to hear your opinioms on our local ward councillors too actually?

    • Wayne Daly: Rachel Kemp the community has on numerous occasions sought direct assistance with matters around traffic congestion in both Woodvale & Kingsley alongwith requests to address directly with WA Police the increased juvenile crime - intimidation that is ocurring. The only response has been devoid of any assistance, But, I suggest you already know that ?

    • ArticulateCaribou6878: Rachel Kemp The two south east ward councillors only come out (not that way) when it's re-election time. And one fought tooth and nail to keep booze on the agenda after council meetings and had the audacity to whinge that council only saved $1000 but not supplying alcohol. $1000 is a lot of money for ratepayers to fork out while this councillor is only in it for the free drink(s)

    • Rachel Kemp: Wayne Daly ok pretty sure she been a big advocate for residents particularly in Woodvale......but there are alsl limits to what control she has over police issues and am.sure she takes v seriously and does raise to the powers to be (which are nationwide issues.unfortunately)and i reckon she would be doing her best in these areas. There are others that maybe Tom French or local council could also get involved or you could pursue further. I find compared to other local members I have known of, Jessica is pretty darn good really. She used to work as a town planner and find in matters of traffic and developement and building application issues she is really knowledgeble. She met with some local greenwood residents a year or so ago and i have seen her work at my kids Goollelal PS and heaps of other projects. I am not related to her!! Lol But you are hyper critcal yet these matters you mention ahr has literally no.control over anyway

    • Rachel Kemp: ArticulateCaribou6878 yeah i have mu opinions too and Jessica is higher on my list for sure!!!

    • Bronwen Speedie: ArticulateCaribou6878 you’re talking about the council meetings there. But this discussion is about the local member in the state government, not the local council. Don’t confuse the issues.

    • Wayne Daly: ArticulateCaribou6878 i think you are not comfortable with some truths that are being expressed in my and most other replies but by attempting to change the conversation will not change the facts !!!

    • Jo Williams: Rachel Kemp I like her too

  • Tarsha Barton: Forget Jessica. One Nation incoming.
    • Abbey Reid: Tarsha Barton 🧡🧡🧡

    • Jo Williams: Tarsha Barton no way

  • Victor Yong: I want to join the Israeli Defence Forces
    • Melissa D'Argenta: Victor Yong off you trot babes 😘

  • Gordon Sadler: One swallow does not make a summer
